How we research, cite, review and correct what we publish.
Last updated October 9, 2026
How do we research a guide?
We start with primary sources: official documentation, pricing pages, government data and published studies. Every statistic gets a numbered footnote with its publisher, title, date and link, so you can check it yourself. Prices for our own services come from our published rate card, so they match everywhere on the site.
Who reviews it?
VowDev Engineering: the engineers who build our clients’ products fact-check and edit every guide before it’s published. Guides are signed “VowDev Engineering” because they’re a team’s work.
How do we use AI?
We use AI tools to help research and draft. Every guide is fact-checked and edited by our engineering team before it's published.
We don’t publish AI-generated images. Every illustration on this site is drawn for VowDev.
How often is a guide updated?
We review every guide each quarter. The “Last updated” date at the top of each guide changes when its content changes, not when we only fix a typo.
How do we handle comparisons?
When we compare our prices with anyone else’s, we cite a dated public source next to the number. We don’t accept payment for mentions, rankings or recommendations.
Found a mistake?
Email contact@vowdev.com with “Correction” in the subject and a link to the page. We reply within 4 business hours, and when a correction changes the substance of a guide, we note it, with the date, at the end of that guide.
