Legal
Privacy policy.
Last updated October 9, 2026
This policy explains what personal information VowDev collects through vowdev.com, why, who processes it for us, how long we keep it and how to use your rights.
Who we are
The controller of your personal information is VowDev (“VowDev”, “we”). Contact: contact@vowdev.com.
What we collect and why
- Project briefs, Vow requests and rescue reports. When you send one of our forms, we receive what you enter (for example your name, email, phone number, company, country and project details), the page you sent it from, the page that referred you and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link. We use this to reply, prepare estimates and plan your project. Legal basis under the GDPR: steps you ask us to take before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Emails and calls. We keep what you send us so we can answer and keep a record of what was agreed. Same legal bases.
- Booking a call. If you book through our calendar, Cal.com processes your name, email and chosen time for us.
- Spam protection. Our forms use a hidden field that only bots fill in, and keep a short-lived count of recent submissions per IP address, held only in server memory and never stored or shared, to stop floods. Where it is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile also processes technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics to tell people from bots. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the forms free of abuse.
- Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views, measure page speed and record a few anonymous events, such as finishing the cost calculator (with the project type you chose) or the rescue check (with its score), all without cookies and without your name or contact details. We use only the aggregated figures. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to run and secure the site.
The cost calculator and the rescue check run in your browser. Your answers reach us only if you choose to send a form; otherwise we see just the anonymous events described above.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies, so you won’t see a cookie banner. The Cal.com booking calendar loads only when you click to book; once it’s open, Cal.com may use its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Who processes your information for us
- Vercel: website hosting and analytics
- Resend: sending email, and receiving mail sent to our vowdev.com addresses
- Cloudflare: Turnstile spam protection
- Telegram: internal notifications when a form is sent
- Cal.com: call booking
- The provider of our email inbox, for messages you send us
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
International transfers
Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become projects: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client project records, contracts and invoices: as long as the law requires us to keep them.
- Analytics: aggregated figures only.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. In the EU, EEA and UK you can also complain to your data protection authority. If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we don’t sell or share it. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
To make a request, email contact@vowdev.com. We answer within the time the law sets (one month under the GDPR, 45 days under California law) and may need to confirm your identity first.
Children
This site isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to answer you, and our providers protect data under their own security programs.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top and explain significant changes on this page.
