§ Schedule · MVP development
MVP development for non-technical founders
Who it's for
- You have an idea and no technical co-founder
- You've tested demand with a waitlist, pre-sales or customer conversations
- You built a prototype in a no-code or AI tool and need a real product
- You need something investors and first customers can actually use
What you get
- A Blueprint: user flows, a measured feature list, clickable designs and a fixed quote
- A working web app, or iOS and Android apps, with accounts, your core features and an admin area
- Hosting, analytics and error alerts set up in your name
- A working demo every week and an approval at every milestone
- Full code in your GitHub, a handover checklist and 90 days of free bug fixes
Price and timeline
- Rate
- $28/hr
- Starting at
- $6,900
- Typical timeline
- 6–10 weeks
- Blueprint
- From $390, credited
Your exact price is fixed in the Blueprint: 1–2 weeks of specs, clickable designs and a fixed quote. It costs $390, $690 or $990 depending on the size of the project, and the full fee is credited to your build.
How it works
- 01 · NapkinTell us the idea on a free call. Bring a sketch, a voice note or a Lovable prototype.
- 02 · Blueprint1–2 weeks of specs, clickable designs and a fixed quote, feature by feature.
- 03 · The VowPrice, milestone dates and the five promises, signed in one document.
- 04 · BuildA working demo every week. You pay each milestone after you approve it.
- 05 · LaunchWe launch, hand over every account and fix bugs free for 90 days.
The Vow, applied
- §1 Your price is fixed.Your MVP price is fixed in the Blueprint, feature by feature.
- §2 You pay as we deliver. You pay for the Blueprint, then for each milestone after you approve it.
- §3 You own everything. Day one.Your code lives in your GitHub from the first commit.
- §4 Late? You pay less.Every milestone has a date; for each full week one is late, 10% comes off its price, up to 50%.
- §5 Bugs fixed free for 90 days.Bugs found within 90 days of launch are fixed free.
What should be in your MVP?
An MVP should prove one thing: that people will use, and ideally pay for, the core of your idea. That usually means accounts, the one or two workflows your product is really about, a way to take payment if you charge, and an admin view so you can see what's happening. Everything else can wait for version two.
In the Blueprint we sort your feature list into "launch", "soon" and "later", with the hours for each, so you can see exactly what a smaller first version saves.
How we keep an MVP on budget
Budgets break when scope is vague. We measure every feature in hours before we quote, fix the price in your Vow, and handle new ideas as written change requests with their own price, so nothing grows quietly. You see a working demo every week and approve each milestone before you pay for it.
Built to grow, not to be rebuilt
We choose mainstream, well-documented technology in the Blueprint and explain the choice in plain English, so any competent developer can pick up your code later. The code is yours from the first commit, documented, and deployed to accounts in your name.
Questions about MVP development
How much does an MVP cost?
Web MVPs start at $6,900 and mobile MVPs at $8,900. Your price depends on the features you need: the calculator gives you a range for your feature list in about a minute, and the Blueprint fixes the exact price before you commit to the build.
How long does it take to build an MVP?
Typically 6–10 weeks for a web MVP and 8–12 weeks for a mobile MVP, after a Blueprint of 1–2 weeks. The exact milestone dates go into your Vow.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. The Blueprint turns your idea into plain-English specs and clickable screens before any code is written, and you review working software every week rather than technical documents.
Should my first version be a web app or a mobile app?
If your users mostly sit at a desk or you need to change things quickly, start with a web app; it's faster and cheaper to build and update. If your product depends on the phone (camera, location, notifications or offline use), start with mobile. We recommend one in the Blueprint and explain why.
What happens after the MVP launches?
You own everything and can take it anywhere. You can continue with maintenance from $390 a month, or plan a second phase based on how real users respond.
