What is a milestone?
Why it matters for your project
Milestones turn a long project into short steps you can see and test. Paying per approved milestone means your money follows working software, and a problem shows up after weeks rather than months.
What it costs
Each milestone's price and date are set in the contract. Under the Vow, every full week a milestone is late takes 10% off that milestone's price, up to 50%.
Example
A web app might have three milestones: accounts and the data model, then the main features, then testing and launch. Each is paid after you approve it.
