What is a discovery phase?
Why it matters for your project
Many budget overruns start with requirements nobody wrote down. A short discovery phase finds the hard questions while they're cheap to answer: on paper, rather than in code.
What it costs
At VowDev the discovery phase is called the Blueprint. It takes 1–2 weeks, costs $390, $690 or $990 depending on the project's size, and the fee is credited in full to your build.
Example
For a fitness app, discovery produces clickable screens for sign-up, workouts and progress, a list of every feature with its hours, and a fixed quote with milestone dates.
